自我介紹
Chia-Yi Chen is a Taiwanese violinist who processes with impressive sound and dedicates herself to engaging solo and chamber music performances and positively giving back to the society. She began to learn the violin at the age of 8 and won the Concerto Competition to perform in Chiayi City Concert Hall. Her extraordinary performances had made her receive Special Talents in Music of Le Midi Hotel in 2013. Continuing her study at National Kaohsiung Normal University-Music Department, she won the Academic Excellence Award of the Department of Music. Chia-Yi pursued her Master’s Degree at Peabody Conservatory of the John Hopkins University, studying with Professor Keng-Yuen Tseng, the prize winner of Queen Elisabeth Competition. She served as the vice principal of the violin section in Peabody Chamber Orchestra. In 2022, Chia-Yi was awarded the Van Hulsteyn Prize Violin Award from Peabody. Chia-Yi will continue her Doctorate Degree (DMA-violin performance) at Boston University.
